A History Ireland Hedge School on ‘The life and times of Brendan O’Regan’ will be convened at 2pm on Saturday 13 April 2024 in the Shannon College of Hotel Management, Shannon Airport.

The five speakers are:

Sean Donlon, formerly served as Irish Ambassador to the USA, Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Chancellor of the University of Limerick.

Brian O’Connell, author of the biography Brendan O’Regan – Irish Innovator, Visionary & Peacemaker.

Frank Barry, Professor of International Business & Economic Development at the Trinity Business School and a member of the Royal Irish Academy.

Andrew O’Regan, the son of Brendan O’Regan and Registrar and Dean of Academic Affairs at All Hallows College, Trinity College Dublin.

Úna Ní Bhroméil, a lecturer in the Department of History, Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick.
