Lecture: Brendan O Regan by Cian O Carroll and Brian O Connell

Cian O´Carroll, collaborator to Brian O’Connell’s biography of Brendan O Regan biography provided a general summary of the main highlights from of Brendan´s life story, using many of the photographs from the book to illustrate his talk.
Brian O’Connell spoke about O’Regan’s relationship in the 1950s with two former ministers of Industry and Commerce, William Norton and Sean Lemass which had a profound impact on the Shannon region and on Irish industrial policy in general.
