Cian O’Carroll and Elaine O’Malley delivered a talk to a meeting of the Shannon Historical and Archaeological Society on the photographic archive collected when researching the 2018 publication ‘Brendan O’Regan, Irish Innovator, Visionary and Peacemaker’. Most of the photographs in the archive were not published in the book or widely seen before .

The photographs featured scenes and people from the early days of Shannon and Cian and Elaine asked the audience for assistance in identifying some of the people in the photographs which will form part of the Brendan O’Regan archive which will be available online.
